EPSOM believes in building strong relationships with patients, like-minded organizations, government and other stakeholders to foster increased public awareness, improved accessibility to services and better eye health care policies.

Patient Care

Striving to provide expert and safe eye care for patients throughout Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario.

Public Awareness

Giving public interviews, lectures and presentations to empower patients with knowledge about common eye conditions and how they are treated.

Education

Training the experts of the future, and contributing to Continuing Medical Education (CME) in Ophthalmology for medical and allied health care professionals.

Policy Development

Creating and supporting policies to strengthen the safety, quality and accessibility of expert eye care.

Collaboration

Networking and collaborating with provincial and national Ophthalmology organizations, and allied medical professionals, Optometrists, and Opticians for better all around eye care.

Advocacy

Engaging with government to ensure that the needs of patients suffering from eye diseases are met in a timely and effective manner.
